These Quick Classic Chicken Caesar Wraps come together in just 15 minutes, combining crisp romaine, creamy Caesar dressing, tender chicken, and parmesan cheese in a convenient, mess-free wrap perfect for lunch or light dinner.

  • 2 cups (300g) cooked chicken, shredded or diced (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • ⅓ cup (80ml) Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade with mayo, garlic, lemon, anchovy paste optional)
  • ¼ cup (25g) freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps (about 10-inch/25cm)
  • 1 small clove fresh garlic, minced (optional)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. If not already cooked, poach or grill chicken breasts (2 small breasts, 6-8 oz / 170-225g each) until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), about 10-12 minutes. Let cool and shred or dice.
  2. Rinse and dry 2 cups of romaine lettuce thoroughly. Chop into roughly 1-inch pieces.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine chicken, chopped romaine, ⅓ cup Caesar dressing, and ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan. Add minced garlic and lemon juice if using. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  4. Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Warm each tortilla in a dry skillet over medium heat for 15-20 seconds per side or wrap in a damp paper towel and microwave for 20 seconds to make them flexible.
  6. Lay each tortilla flat and spoon about ½ cup (120g) of the chicken Caesar filling down the center. Fold in the sides and roll tightly to enclose the filling.
  7. Cut wraps in half diagonally and serve immediately. For later use, wrap tightly in foil or parchment paper.

Notes

Warm tortillas before assembling to prevent cracking. Pat lettuce dry to avoid soggy wraps. Add garlic croutons for extra crunch and moisture absorption. Assemble wraps just before eating to keep lettuce crisp. Use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience. For gluten-free, use corn or almond flour tortillas or large lettuce leaves as wraps.
