A quick and easy smoothie packed with fresh fruit, greens, and skin-loving ingredients that promote a radiant, glowing complexion.

  • 1 cup ripe mango, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 medium avocado, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach or kale, washed
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 34 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop about 1 cup (165 g) of ripe mango into chunks.
  2. Slice half a medium avocado (about 75 g), scoop out the flesh, and set aside.
  3. Wash and drain 1 cup (30 g) fresh baby spinach or kale thoroughly.
  4. Peel a 1-inch (2.5 cm) piece of fresh ginger and grate finely.
  5. Squeeze 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of fresh lemon juice using a citrus reamer or by hand, making sure no seeds sneak in.
  6. Add mango chunks, avocado, greens, grated ginger, lemon juice, and 1 cup (240 ml) of coconut water into your blender.
  7. If using, sprinkle in 1 tablespoon (12 g) chia seeds and a drizzle (about 1 tsp or 5 ml) of honey or maple syrup for sweetness.
  8. Toss in 3-4 ice cubes for that refreshing chill and texture.
  9. Blend on high speed for about 45-60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides if needed and blend again for a few seconds to get everything evenly combined.
  10. If it’s too thick, add a splash more coconut water or plain water and pulse again until desired consistency is reached.
  11. Pour into your favorite glass and serve immediately.

Notes

Use ripe mango and avocado for best flavor and creaminess. Adjust sweetness last after tasting. If smoothie tastes bitter, add more lemon juice or a pinch of sea salt. Clean blender immediately after use to avoid residue buildup. Can substitute kale for spinach but expect stronger flavor. Coconut water can be replaced with plain water or almond milk.
