A quick and easy air fryer recipe that caramelizes peaches to create a juicy, sweet, and healthy dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 medium fresh peaches, ripe but firm
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted (or coconut oil for dairy-free option)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Rinse peaches under cold water, then carefully cut them in half and remove the pits. Leave the skin on.
  3. Toss peaches in a bowl with melted butter, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract if using. Add lemon juice if desired.
  4. Arrange peaches in the air fryer basket, cut-side up, ensuring they are not overlapping.
  5. Air fry peaches for 12-15 minutes, checking around the 10-minute mark until tender with slightly caramelized edges.
  6. Optional: Brush more honey or butter on peaches halfway through cooking and flip cut-side down for the last 3 minutes for deeper caramelization.
  7. Remove peaches carefully with a spatula to a serving plate and let cool for a few minutes.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with vanilla Greek yogurt, mascarpone, or ice cream.

Notes

Preheat the air fryer for even cooking and caramelization. Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure peaches brown properly. Flip peaches gently halfway through cooking for even caramelization. Adjust cooking time if using frozen peaches. Optional spices like nutmeg, chili powder, or smoked paprika can add flavor twists. Use coconut oil or vegan butter for a dairy-free version.
