A refreshing and creamy smoothie blending ripe bananas and juicy peaches with milk and optional yogurt, perfect for a quick, healthy summer drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 2 medium peaches, fresh (pit and sliced) or 1 cup (150g) frozen peach slices
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk of choice (whole, almond, oat, or coconut milk)
  • ½ cup (120g) Greek yogurt (optional, plain or vanilla; dairy-free alternative optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 45 ice cubes
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice 2 ripe bananas. If using fresh peaches, pit and slice 2 medium peaches. If frozen, measure about 1 cup (150g) of frozen peach slices.
  2. Place bananas, peaches, 1 cup (240ml) of milk, and ½ cup (120g) of Greek yogurt into the blender.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract if extra sweetness or flavor is desired.
  4. Add 4-5 ice cubes to chill the smoothie without diluting the flavor.
  5. Blend on low speed first, then increase to high speed and blend for about 1-2 minutes until smooth and thick but pourable. Stop and scrape sides if needed.
  6. Check consistency and taste; add more milk if too thick, or more yogurt/ice cubes if too thin, then blend again.
  7. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.

Notes

Use overripe bananas and soft peaches for natural sweetness and creaminess. Frozen peaches can replace fresh for year-round use. Adjust milk quantity to achieve desired thickness. Adding nut butter or protein powder can make it more filling. Store in fridge up to 24 hours; stir before drinking if separated. Avoid freezing after blending to maintain creamy texture.
